Looks like Big Brother has disabled Java, and now not only am I protected from mal-ware on the web... none of our FinalCutServer clients can launch the app to access assets and projects. Yes there is a workaround, but it's scary to ponder Apple deciding what software we can use and then flipping a switch.

Let the good times roll!

Which version of OSX are you running? Java's working fine here in 10.8.2 (client)... It's just the latest version, not [i]all/i of Java.

I am using the updated version and everything is working fine now. If you have 10.6.8 based systems. you can refer this link directly https://dl.dropbox.com/u/71385283/Final%20Cut%20Server.dmg.
